Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Hartville Dog Haven, we understand that plans can change. Our policies help us reserve space and staffing for each dog while remaining fair and flexible for our pet parents.

Daycare Cancellations

  • Daycare reservations should be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are highly discouraged

  • Missed pre-paid daycare reservations and no-shows are non-refundable. Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change.
     

Boarding Cancellations

  • Boarding reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund or credit.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged for the first night of the stay.

  • Early pick-ups do not qualify for refunds on unused nights.
     

Packages & Memberships

  • Daycare packages are non-refundable once purchased. These do not expire.

  • Package credits may be used toward future daycare visits and do not expire unless otherwise stated.

  • Membership pricing and benefits are subject to change with notice.
     

Add-On Services

  • Add-on services such as bathing or medication administration are charged only if provided.

  • If an add-on service is scheduled but not needed, no charge will be applied.
     

Illness or Emergency

  • We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if your dog becomes ill or an unexpected situation arises.

  • Refunds or credits due to emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion.
     

Vaccination & Eligibility

  • If a reservation must be cancelled due to missing or expired vaccination records, the cancellation will be handled according to this policy.
     

Holiday Bookings

  • Holiday reservations are non-refundable.

  • No drop-off or pick-up is available on holidays.
     

Payment

  • Payment is due at check-in or at the time of booking, depending on the service.

  • We accept cash (preferred) and credit card payments
